Provides daily oversight, training, and direction to their assigned personnel with an emphasis on instilling a sense of urgency and constant communication. Ensures the necessary direction and planning to support their personnel in meeting material requirement demands. Anticipates customer requirements and proactively seeks ways of improving customer satisfaction. As a leader they will represent a positive image of Flightstar and demonstrate the characteristics expected of professionals in both safety and quality.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Routinely communicates with Line Program Managers, Line Supervisors and Customers in order to provide latest status on parts needed for aircraft currently undergoing maintenance and to request information that is necessary to plan for upcoming aircraft projects.
- Ensures all parts and assets are being properly scanned, received, maintained, issued, and shipped within appropriate material processing systems.
- Attends daily meetings to ensure customer material expectations and to provide responsive status to their requirements. Enable effective and efficient production planning to occur for Flightstar customers.
- Interfaces with the customer as necessary to understand expectations as it relates to asset management, ERP system training, and periodic reporting requirements.
- Manages inventory stock including replenishment, reorder points for purchasing and stockroom cycle counts.
- Maintains liaison with MRO Solutions Planning department for upcoming projects, pre-draw preparation, tooling, and purchasing requirements.
- Attends project status meetings, program reviews, and conducts periodic meetings with customer representatives to discuss program needs or performance.
- Ensures all off units are returned in a timely manner to the proper customer.
- Manages functions of the distribution center to ensure material requests are being processed, consolidated from receipt to work order lockers or staged in transit bins as expedited to the project.
- Provides customer service to internal and external customers while fostering a partnership with the customer representatives and production team.
- Monitors work order shelves and point of use locker inventory to ensure proper disposition of left over materials.
- Initiates and recommends approval of personnel actions, including interviews and selection and employee hire, pay changes, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers, and leaves of absence.
- Organizes and or participates in on-going process improvement activities in an effort to maximize operational efficiency.
- Ensures all employees are carrying out duties in a safe and productive manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- English Proficiency
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate's Degree in relatable field preferred)
- Minimum three (3) years of aircraft industry supply chain operations required
- Minimum of (2) years in a leadership/management position required
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operation functions and inventory practices organizing, planning, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships and to communicate policies and procedures to employees.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
