Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CNC programming and operation or a degree in machining and a keen eye for detail. This role requires precision and expertise in machining components to meet exact specifications. The CNC Machinist will work collaboratively with engineers and other team members to ensure high-quality production standards are met. Pay based on experience.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining processes.
- Utilize CAD software for designing parts and CAM programming for machine operations.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, bore gauges, and other tools.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or production processes as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery, specifically with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for part design.
- Experience with CAM programming to optimize machining processes.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles for interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
