Maintenance Assistant

Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Maintenance Assistant

Pay range: $23 - $29 hourly

Schedule: Monday- Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Assist in providing day-to-day general facility maintenance.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools. 
• Assist with maintenance documentation as required by policies.
• Operate forklifts and be willing to be Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) certified.
• Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, provide maintenance services on both small and large equipment.
• Read and interpret written tasks.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn.
• Assist with janitorial tasks when back up is needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: None required

Skills:

• Mechanically inclined.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to constantly stand/walk.
• Basic electricity knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience: 2 years in a company maintenance environment or equivalent       

Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills, California is a 40-year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military, Boeing, Lockheed, Sikorsky, etc.
