Aerometals is looking to add the following position:
Press Brake Operator
Pay range: $25 - $38 DOE
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Operate and set up the press brake with precision and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure high-quality production standards.
- Follow traveler, drawing, and specification requirements pertaining to fabrication operations.
- Perform various fabrication methods such as forming, riveting, CNC punch, CNC brake, manual brake, shearing, bending, grinding, and flaring.
- Demonstrate ability to interpret mylars.
- Perform any other duties as required by the organization.
Qualification Requirements:
Education: None
Skills:
- Mechanically inclined and safety conscious.
- Ability to utilize tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Experience: 1 year in sheet metal manufacturing
Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills, California is a 40-year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military, Boeing, Lockheed, Sikorsky, etc.
