Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Quality Control Inspector

Pay range: $26 - $34 hourly

Schedule: Monday- Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

Aerometals is looking for a responsible quality control inspector with a background in mechanical inspections using inspection tools. The Quality Control Inspector needs to have great attention to detail, a clear understanding of the manufacturing process, blueprints, specifications, and travelers. This inspector could be responsible for checking the quality of all raw material and incoming parts and/or production manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Perform inspection and documentation to assure compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Understand engineering drawings, process specifications, test procedures, process planning, and customer drawings.
• Measure parts to verify accuracy of dimensions using special measuring equipment.
• Monitor and provide guidance for product quality.
• Understand tool inspection practices and complete tooling setups.
• Utilize metrology equipment.
• Enter inspection data and defect information into a computer database.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent

Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions with a high degree of quality.
• Excellent time management abilities.
• Ability to self-start and work under minimal supervision and guidance.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds

Experience:  2 years of manufacturing inspection in related field
