Responsibilities:
- Masking Aerospace parts while utilizing blueprints and/or First-Article Masked Part as the guide
- Documenting in English the work you have performed by writing in English on company Forms
- Preparation of parts prior to paint applications (Counting Parts, Cleaning Parts, Packaging Parts)
- Using test equipment to check compliance of parts (Thickness, Gloss, Adhesion)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate in both verbal and written forms.
- Ability to read documents in English.
- Ability to see, hear, and use arms and hands (Note: The Company will consider accomodations for physical impairments)
- Ability to alternate standing and sitting for 8 hours.
- Solid interpersonal skills to enable effective teamwork abilities
- Prior work experience that demonstrated good performance
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
- Must conform to the company’s FAA Drug and Alcohol Program Policy.
- High School diploma/GED, or equivalent experience required.
- Experience in Aerospace blueprint reading.
- Previous experience in Aerospace Part Masking.
- Understanding of micrometers, calipers, and basic industry specifications.
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to lead and train other maskers
