What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance/Facility Tech - Intern position at Aerosonic?
Founded in 1953, Aerosonic has grown to be a leader in aviation instrumentation and avionics equipment – including air data systems, standby displays, digital and mechanical standby instruments, sensors and probes. Our customers include the major manufacturers of today’s civil, military and business fixed wing and rotorcraft platforms as well as all branches of the US military forces. We are currently seeking an on-site Maintenance/Facility Tech for our Clearwater, FL facility. This is a six month temporary assignment.
Job Summary
Responsible for performing a wide variety of repair, operation and maintenance work; repair and maintain building infrastructure, furniture, and equipment to include general mechanical, basic carpentry and painting, routine preventative maintenance, basic plumbing and mechanics.
Education/Previous Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to three years building equipment operation and maintenance
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
