Our customers include the major manufacturers of today’s civil, military and business fixed wing and rotorcraft platforms as well as all branches of the US military forces. We are currently seeking an on-site Sr. Electrical Design Engineer for our Clearwater, FL facility.

Job Summary
Responsible for translation of design requirements into analog and digital board designs - complete with component selection, simulation, schematic capture, layout, documentation and development of test procedures for avionics products.
- System integration to ensure proper functionof integrated boards in the intended platform
- Review of PCB layouts with Altium, PADS or Allegro - PCB layout experience is a plus
- Ability to interface with in-house manufacturing for production test support and troubleshooting
- Emphasis will be on a structured development process to meet DO-178C / DO-254 guidelines
Education/Previous Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, physics or related engineering fields
- Experience in design and implementation for aerospace applications. Familiarity with various data and power bus architectures and implementation of micro-processors
- A minimum of seven years in board design, preferably from aerospace organization
- Solid analytical skills
- Working knowledge of aerospace and FAA requirements
- Strong analytical and communication skills for evaluating information and providing to the customer
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
