Aerospace Turbine Rotables, Inc. seeks a dynamic, entrepreneurial senior sales manager to join our team. Aerospace Turbine Rotables is a division of First Aviation Services Inc. (FAvS) and a national leader in component maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and parts manufacturing (PMA) serving the corporate, military and regional aircraft.
Aerospace Turbine Rotables focuses on landing gear, hydraulics, hydrostatic testing, and electrical components.
The position is customer facing, responsible for outreach, prospecting, and qualifying leads. The Regional Manager of Sales and Business Development will generate leads, find new business opportunities, and tap into new markets specifically for corporate aviation.
The ideal candidate will assist in planning and directing marketing and sales activities to meet business plans, goals and objectives. An in-depth knowledge of the corporate aviation marketplace is key; specific experience in the corporate jet landing gear market would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short and long-term sales plans and programs to achieve, and exceed, sales and revenue targets and objectives.
- Develop and target client opportunities through outbound sales calls, e-mails and visits (both face-to-face and virtual).
- Provide Sales support for landing gear product lines within Aerospace Turbine Rotables business unit.
- Research and substantiate new market and product opportunities
- Represent the company at all sales, marketing and networking functions internally and externally.
- Develop and expand the existing CRM system to help track prospects, existing and historic customers.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in sales and business development along with experience in corporate aviation.
- Aviation MRO sales experience required; corporate landing gear market knowledge is a distinct advantage.
- Technical aviation background is required. A degree in aviation management, business, marketing, engineering, finance or similar would be preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively and professionally communicate.
- Exceptional communication, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential
- Ability to work independently, highly organized and self-motivated
- Must be able to pass a ten-year Background/Criminal/DMV/Drug Screen
- Domestic and International travel will be required.
