Hartzell Aerospace Welding (Eagan) seeks an eager TIG Welder to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will have experience in precision TIG welding , working with materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, chromoly, etc. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to strict quality standards, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Starting at $24 per hour! Entry Level to Senior Level Experience candidates are encouraged to apply.
The TIG welder is responsible for the following :
- The proper fabrication and welding of customer parts and assemblies as requested.
- High Variety, low volume part work.
- No less than 90% of completed parts to successfully pass inspection process.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, quality inspectors, and production teams.
- Offer viable semi-annual process improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety policies and guidelines.
- Complete all necessary documentation for proper tracking of work.
- Follow aerospace industry standards (e.g., AWS D17.1, AS9100, NADCAP).
- General shop housekeeping and other duties as assigned.
