Join our team and you will work with our Quality Inspection department to learn the foundation of Quality Control in a hands-on environment. Learn to read drawings and blueprints, work with inspection tools, and gain an understanding of industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely inspection of parts using a variety of precision measuring tools (Romer Arm, CMM, Planar, hand tools, etc.)

• Using manufacturing ERP systems.

• Following instructions, procedures, specifications, and requirements for all jobs.

• Able to complete documentation properly and accurately according to HAW Quality standards.

• Critical thinking to uphold quality requirements in a fast pace, dynamic environment.

• Learning ISO 9001, AS9100, and Nadcap requirements

• General shop housekeeping and following safety policies and guidelines.


Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Currently enrolled in a technical degree program

• Interest in Quality Control as a possible career path

• Able to work in a group setting in a manufacturing environment 

• Ability to communicate, ask clarifying questions and understand the workflow 

• Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.


Required Technical Competencies

1) Proficient Computer Skills         

a.  Microsoft Office       

2) Basic understanding of basic inspection gauges, calipers 

3) Basic understanding of drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.

4) Ability to read, interpret, and follow customer specifications, internal procedures, and work instructions. 

5) Ability to communicate, ask clarifying questions and understand the workflow to properly troubleshoot issues.
