Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to oversee and ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations within our organization. The EHS Coordinator will play a key role in fostering a safe and sustainable work environment, helping to mitigate risks, and ensuring the well-being of our employees, visitors, and the surrounding community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee the training of employees on EHS procedures, equipment handling, emergency response, and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of safety activities, including incident reports, inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads and management to address EHS-related concerns and continuously improve safety standards.
- Assist in the preparation and review of safety documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, energy consumption, and other sustainability initiatives.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, or near-misses, ensuring that proper corrective and preventive measures are taken.
- Stay up to date with new regulations, industry trends, and best practices to improve the EHS program.
