Our team in Lacrosse is seeking a CNC machinist to operate and maintain our machining equipment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to product high-quality products that meet our quality standards. Hours:
3rd Shift - 11pm -7am, starting on Sunday night
*Training is conducted on 1st shift, 7am - 3pm*
Pay:
$20 - $25 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and solve problems as they arise
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a metalworking environment, is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
