What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator / Assembler position at Aerotek?
We are hiring for assemblers or machine operators or production workers to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for good machine operators with at least some experience in manufacturing facility. We will teach and train everyone in this role but previous experience is helpful in this role. We are hiring immediately for this role and you can start as soon as possible. This is a full time and long term permanent job.
We are open to anyone with entry level experience or if someone has experience then that is great! Assembler and Machine operators should be able to follow instructions, work with others, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed. We are open to Machine operators or CNC or Assemblers or Production Workers. Anyone with good production and machine operating would be a great fit for this role as we will teach and train on the job.
Experience level: Entry level is fine as you will be trained on site but anyone with production, assembly, machine operating or any type of manufacturing experience would be a great fit for this role.
Schedule: Monday - Friday -1st or 2nd shift available
- 1st: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
- 2nd 4:30 pm - 1:00 am
Machine operators Job Description
- Operate production equipment
- Assemble machinery parts
- Complete machine operation duties such as loading materials into machines
- Set up machines to start a production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings
- Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Responsible for the daily operations of the machines
- Performs routine preventative and corrective maintenance functions.
- Maintains the appropriate documentation required in mechanical manufacturing processes.
- Quality check and testing of products to ensure quality requirements are met
- Meet production standards and quality expectations
- Ability to document results accurately
- Understand and comply with all department safety policies and procedures
- Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards
- Assist and support other employees, teams, and sales personnel as necessary
