Description:
Medical Supply Chain Technician - Stock Room & Code Carts
Skills needed/wanted: inventory skills, basic math counting skills, shipping and receiving, ability to walk long distances, any inventory scanning experience, customer service experience.
For stock room: candidates will be receiving in medical supplies into the hospital. Will scan product in for inventory purposes and budging for hospital. Candidates will stock items in in their supply chain department and par closets in each floor of the hospital.
For code carts: candidates will be responsible for build various code carts needed in the hospital and near by clinics. Building carts consist of checking on list for each particular cart (blue, red, etc). Each cart will need different items. Will also check on expiration dates of each cart already in use - to make sure its up to par. News items in the back, older items in the front (first in, first out concept).
Attention to detail is a must - has they must verify item being stocked matches item on shelf. Must check on expiration dates. Ability to go above and beyond.
