What are the responsibilities and job description for the Survey Field Assistant position at AES CONSULTING ENGINEERS?
AES Consulting Engineers is seeking a full-time Survey Field Assistant. Candidates for this position will work under the direction of a Licensed Land Surveyor or Survey Crew Chief, assisting in performing field data collection as well as a wide variety of land surveying activities, utilizing Robotic total stations, GPS and other surveying instruments in an outdoor field setting. REQUIRED: The preferred candidate will have strong math skills, be reliable, detail-oriented and possess a willingness to learn. Prior surveying experience or education is favorable, but not required. Candidate must be able to work year-round, outdoors in all types of weather. Must possess a valid Virginia Driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
