Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and branding efforts in the recycled auto parts industry, focusing on local markets and business-to-business (B2B) customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance our brand awareness, drive sales growth, and position our company as a leader in the automotive industry. This role requires experience in B2B marketing, relationship building, and promoting brands that highlight our purpose and environmentally responsible business practices.
This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and works closely with various functions of management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Develop Local Marketing Strategies : Design and implement localized marketing strategies that target local auto repair facilities, body shops, car dealerships, and local retail customers that utilize recycled auto parts.
- B2B Campaigns : Create and execute marketing campaigns tailored to business-to-business vendors and customers, focusing on relationship building and lead generation within the local and regional market.
- Brand Awareness : Enhance the visibility of the company’s brand in the local market, positioning us as the go-to source for quality recycled auto parts and sustainable automotive solutions.
- Partnerships and Networking : Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, industry groups, trade associations, and other organizations to foster partnerships and increase brand recognition.
- Digital and Traditional Marketing : Utilize a mix of digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email) and traditional marketing (flyers, trade shows, networking events) to engage B2B clients and promote our parts.
- Content Creation : Oversee the development of content that educates businesses about the benefits of using recycled auto parts, including sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
- Market Research : Conduct research to understand the needs of local businesses, track competitor activities, and identify opportunities for market expansion.
- Sales Support : Collaborate with the sales team to provide marketing materials and support that helps drive B2B sales, including brochures, product catalogs, and case studies.
- Budget and ROI : Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and campaigns are optimized for a high return on investment (ROI).
- Reporting and Analytics : Track and report on key marketing metrics such as lead generation, customer acquisition, website traffic, and overall campaign performance, using insights to adjust strategies as needed.
- Sustainability Focus : Highlight the environmental benefits of using recycled auto parts, aligning with our company’s commitment to sustainability.
