Description
Support Production Operations in assembling products as directed.
2. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble all single cartridge seals except CAPI & CFC.
- Assemble all double cartridge seals except CAPI & CFFC.
- Assemble all single spring seals.
- Knowledge of seal testing.
- Knowledge of parts picking.
- Knowledge of boxing.
- Knowledge of shipping.
- On-Call Responsibility.
- Willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Build errors less than 1%.
- After one year, an average efficiency of greater than 75% must be maintained. Efficiency is measured by the number and types of seals built compared to the number of hours worked.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time, with or without notice, as determined by business needs.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED (preferred, but not required).
- Must have sufficient mechanical aptitude.
- Must have sufficient hand skills/dexterity.
- Must have knowledge of small hand tools.
- Must have the ability to operate a Windows PC.
- Must be able to use measuring equipment. Dial callipers and micrometres required.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
- Must have sufficient problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively.
- Must be self-motivated and pay attention to detail.
