Description
- Full range of repair department activities including:
- Receipt and recording of incoming repairs.
- Disassembly of seals sent in for repair.
- Washing and decontamination of parts after disassembly.
- Blasting and cleaning of parts.
- Technical assessment of components to determine viability of re-use or replacement.
- Basic customer reporting for condition of mechanical seals.
- Inspection and analysis of seals, interpret and understand simple to complex component part and assembly drawings.
- Provide product failure analysis in line with AESSEAL standards.
- Customer order input, co-ordination of purchased parts and progressing of WIP Sales Orders to provide customer service and quick turnaround.
- Basic maintenance of repair area equipment.
- Work overtime when required.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time, with or without notice, as determined by business needs.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Associates of Applied Science in either Technology, Engineering, or Math preferred
- Min. of 2-year assembly or production experience; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
