Grassroots/Local Outreach
- Work alongside operations and management team to strategically identify local partnership and event opportunities
- Assist in the planning and execution of grassroots campaigns and outreach events
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, social media, and in-person meetings.
- Provide logistical support for events including setup, registration, and volunteer coordination
- Track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records of contacts and activities.
- Develop and distribute promotional materials such as flyers, newsletters, and social media content.
- Conduct research on community needs and recommend potential partnerships.
- Assist in identifying and researching potential influencers aligned with brand goals.
- Manage outreach and communication with influencers
- Help negotiate and coordinate influencer collaborations and deliverables.
- Maintain and update our influencer database and campaign trackers.
- Monitor trends across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative campaign ideas.
- Assist with event planning and coordination tasks from start to finish
- Support event setup, execution, and teardown
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders
- Help maintain event budgets and track expenses
- Assist with promotional activities and social media outreach
- Research potential venues, sponsors, and suppliers
- Prepare and distribute event materials (agendas, name tags, signage, etc.)
- Provide on-site support during events
- Manage post-event wrap-up including feedback collection and reporting
- Undergraduate student working towards a Bachelor’s degree, senior year of study or recent graduate
- Strong familiarity and passion for social media
- Outgoing and able to work with stakeholders throughout the company and our partners
- Ability to develop strong relationships with like-minded businesses and maintain them
- Proficient computer, analytical, decision making, organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills in order to communicate effectively with prospects and cross-functionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attentive and timely in responses
- Good follow up and ability to multitask
- Comfortable using Google Workspace
- Familiarity with Canva is a plus
- Ability to create reels is a plus
- Strong aesthetic eye
- Experience in community organizing, volunteer management, or event coordination.
- Familiarity with the local community and its resources
- Prior marketing experience
