We are looking for a: Inside Sales Representative (Full-time)
We are Aetna Building Solutions, one of the Midwest’s largest distributors of building products. We supply surface, composite, plywood, hardwood lumber, and hardware to our dedicated customers. We are known for our quality products, understanding our customers’ needs, and immediate delivery. We have 5 warehouses throughout the Midwest and over 135 employees. In this position you will utilize your communication skills to represent the company and our products while maintaining relationships with current customers while establishing new customers through outbound calling efforts. You will provide customer support through your knowledge of our products and their applications while handling a large volume of calls. Your attention to detail will assist you in keeping track and updating your activities in the CRM. Working with the team ensuring the customer needs are met.
Duties of Responsibility:
  • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships
  • Provide customer support through product knowledge and applications
  • Possess strong verbal and written skills
  • Demonstrate ability to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Increase year over year customer spend
  • Work with Director of Inside Sales to maintain thorough outbound call schedule
  • Utilize CRM to log sales and call activity
  • Work with field sales teammates to achieve territory goals
  • Assist field sales with quote and sourcing activity
  • Follow up quote and other sales opportunities
  • Manage sales orders, minimums, back orders, lead times, delivery dates to exceed customer exception
  • Assist Purchasing Managers with consistent inventory review and levels
  • Communicate competitive intel to Product Managers
  • Utilize viewers to manage an organized workflow
  • Respond to customer needs with priority
  • Always demonstrate positive and professional composure
  • Participate in Product Knowledge, Agility and Sales training opportunities
  • Comply with operational and pricing structures
This position will be ideal for you, if you have:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in inside sales or customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new programs
Compensation: Base salary plus incentives. The pay scale for the role is between $45,000-$60,000 (Final salary commensurate with experience)
