The company is seeking an experienced Planning and Allocations Coordinator to join its planning team in Teaneck, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Work with inventory planners and distribution teams to allocate products based on predetermined priorities.
- Manage customer drop-ship programs to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipping.
- Prepare data for monthly planning/buying meetings, including department KPIs, inventory on hand, customer demand, in-transit goods, and seasonal trends.
- Prepare weekly availability reports for sales teams to inform inventory decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, including distribution, accounting, product development, and customer service.
Requirements:
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze and organize historical sales, inventory, and customer requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and math skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- 3-5 years of planning experience or equivalent in an analytical finance, planning, or business development role.
- Fashion industry experience a plus.
