Aetrex, Inc. is looking for a dynamic and growth-minded Entry-Level Staff Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team in Teaneck, NJ. This is an entry level position and an excellent opportunity for recent college graduates.
Job Responsibilities:
General
- Assist with preparation of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Assist reconciliation of financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Prepare and post journal entries and accruals.
- Review expense coding to ensure account and transaction accuracy.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close functions related to Inventory, Cost of Goods Sold, and other related General Ledger accounts.
- Coordinate equipment rental invoicing and maintain billing master file.
- Assist in organizing schedules and reports for external audit.
- Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Support other team members as necessary.
- Perform other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 0 to 1 year Accounting and General Ledger experience
- Exhibit strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Advanced MS Excel skills including vlook ups and pivot tables
- Solid written and verbal communication skill
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and manipulation of large amounts of data
- Highly energized team player with an ability to operate effectively in a family-owned organization
