What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Writer position at Aeva, Inc.?
We are looking for a part-time Technical Writer to manage and create various internal and external technical documents. Technical documents could include user manuals, product data sheets, testing protocols, and product descriptions.
\n- Develop and write detailed technical documents that convey complex technical material in a concise and effective manner.
- Review and edit content (Technical proposals, User manuals, Datasheets)
- Working closely with system architects, design engineers, and manufacturing technicians in order to gain a good understanding of the materials
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred or minimum 2-4 years equivalent work experience
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Superior command of the English language including rules and usage
- Proficient in using common authoring tools such as Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, Visio, PowerPoint, Keynote, or OmniGraffle
- Strong research skills including gathering and analyzing data from multiple sources
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with Optical communication, optical imaging and depth sensing systems
$45 - $55 an hour
Salary pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, certifications, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges are subject to change in the future.
