Airframe Structures Technician Position Overview:
We seek a skilled and experienced Airframe Structures Technician II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and alteration tasks, as well as sheet metal assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and alteration tasks in compliance with current technical data
- Prepare and assemble aircraft sheet metal parts and assemblies
- Accurately document work performed on the relevant maintenance record
- Effectively execute assigned duties
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structures
- A & P license or equivalent experience in military aviation
- Possession of personal tools: drill motor, 90 degrees drill motor, rivet gun and sets, dye grinders, cleco pliers, countersink cages, and standard hand tools
- Strong knowledge of aircraft hardware, materials, and processes
- Ability to identify, install, and remove common aircraft fasteners
- Basic print reading skills and layout techniques
- High level of integrity and work ethic
