Human Resource Generalist

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and benefit management. This position requires a proactive approach to workforce management and a strong understanding of HR best practices. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with employees and management to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and processes for compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Monitor payroll and benefit systems to maintain consistency and standardization.
- Utilize computer software programs to maintain records, create and design reports, and create supporting documentations, forms, and materials.
- Maintain all employee files. Maintain confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Manage workers comp claims and submit Workers’ comp data.
- Manage the benefit enrollment process, assist with benefit claim issues, etc.
- Coordinate open enrollment activities including meetings, communication plans, etc.
- Reconcile monthly benefit vendor invoices and submit for payment.
- Collaborate with management to develop HR policies that align with organizational goals.
Your Qualifications:
- 5 years of HR experience.
- Proven experience in HR sourcing, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, ability to solve problems, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Dedication to an open and engaging, safe environment and ensuring positive employee relations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Bonus If You Have:
· Experience working for or with GM/Ford or other NA OEMs.
