Basic Functions : Sales support roles involve assisting sales with administrative tasks, preparing sales materials, managing customer databases, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring smooth sales processes
Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the sales team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Accurately process and manage customer data including contacts, phone numbers and emails in a timely manner.
Conduct outbound calls to enhance customer experience and strengthen relationships.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain and deliver sample products needed to support the sales teams efforts.
Perform daily updates to customer notes, templates and generate quotes.
Answer calls from an inbound queue.
Serve as a resource for the sales team by offering timely information, guidance, and support.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain and deliver sample products needed to support the sales teams efforts.
Work closely with the sales and installation teams to support timely project completion.
Operations Support :
Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate and support installation processes.
Communicate with the procurement team to share and manage product needs effectively.
Partner with the administrative team to ensure accurate record-keeping and correct pricing.
Provide timely feedback to the warehouse team to align with the sales teams requirements and objectives.
Team Collaboration :
Participate in team meetings and contribute to company initiatives.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration or related field is a plus. Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with office management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to clearly communicate with and understand instructions from supervisor and team members (verbal and written).
Moderate degree of understanding of flooring products and their installation requirements.
