Job Description

Meat Room

Job Tasks

• Operate forklift
• Operate system using Human Machine Interface (equipment panel views)
• Load/unload/organize reefers
• Perform a protein inventory
• Receive and understand instruction from Control Room Operator on meat log
• Locate correct protein and communicate with Prime for necessary reefer movements
• Prep reefer for pick up. Empty meat tote. Load dirty pallets.
• System check equipment to ensure operating correctly and safely before operation
• Operate rotating fork lift to dump meat into meat crusher
• Manually remove/stack pallets
• Disassemble and reassemble frozen meat system
• Clean meat room and all equipment within
• Complete all tasks in work area on the master cleaning schedule and document
• Basic trouble shooting of equipment issues

• Forklift inspection
• Identify protein types and check for signs of spoilage
• Pre-equipment checks
• Verify variances
• Inspect, wear and maintain appropriate PPE for chemical hazards

Toting

Job Tasks

• Operate fork lift
• Operate system using Human Machine Interface (equipment panel views)
• Print correct labels and placards
• Ensure you have all materials needs for toting
• Hook up work tank through inline screen to the barreling system on the flow panel
• Pull and label samples. Include 1 sample with last full tote of run.
• Lift pallet onto scale, insert slip sheet, and setup tote frame
• Fill tote with liquid while monitoring the bladder is filling correctly if filling cardboard totes
• Fill cage totes
• Fill barrels/drums and use liners if needed
• Apply phosphoric acid and sorbic acid solution on each tote/barrel
• Apply label and placard to tote while numbering correctly
• Wrap totes and load on trailer
• Complete all tasks in work area on the master cleaning schedule and document
• Basic trouble shooting of equipment issues

Breddo

Job Tasks

• Operate fork lift
• Hook up work tank on flow panel to circulate through the Breddo
• Gather raw materials specified on the batch sheet and document lot numbers
• Operate system using Human Machine Interface (equipment panel views)
• Run bulk bags using the bulk add system
• Manually cut and dump 50/55lb bags
• Measure out and add dry and liquid ingredients
• Rework/add from totes (caged or cardboard) using the system pumps
• Change out liquid ingredient drums as needed
• Meter in intermediates using the north intermediate pump. Prime and backflush system.
• Disassemble/reassemble system for cleaning
• Complete all tasks in work area on the master cleaning schedule and document
• Basic trouble shooting of equipment issues
