ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process materials on production equipment
- Report daily production totals
- Detect and report defective materials
- Check parts in process as directed by work instructions
- Fill out part identification tags
- Move parts using pallet jacks, hoists, or forklifts
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area
- Identify and document downtime
- Identify and document scrap
- Assist other operators as needed during change overs
- Operate bolt forging machine.
- Inspect products to ensure quality by using precision measuring instruments, gages, and visual inspection.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to read and understand technical instructions
- Good eye hand coordination
- Basic math skills
- Experience with handheld measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to be trained to set up coils and set dies
- Positive attitude/team player
- Must have experience in die changeover and set up of stamping presses.
- Operate bolt forging machine. Inspect products to ensure quality by using precision measuring instruments, gages, and visual inspection.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum one-year related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Hours: 2nd Shift, 6PM-6AM, Monday-Friday, possible OT
