General Laborer
AFC Industries is seeking a General Laborer to join our team. We are a recognized leader in the design and manufacture of ergonomic interactive technical products for various industries, including:

The General Laborer will work both independently and collaboratively within a team, engaging with different departments. This role offers opportunities to develop multiple skill sets and build a long-term career by participating in various aspects of production, facilities maintenance, and other operational areas.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and precision in task execution.
- Inspect and assess the quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools used in the assembly process.
- Perform assembly work as needed, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in powder coating operations, including preparation, coating, and finishing processes.
- Operate grinders and other finishing tools to refine and smooth surfaces as needed.
- Adhere to company procedures and quality standards.
- Properly maintain tools and equipment used in production.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and well-maintained workspace.
- Perform additional duties in other departments as assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to follow company guidelines and meet quality standards.
- Proficiency with manual and power tools used in assembly and production.
- Experience using grinders for finishing and material preparation.
- Experience as an assembler or powder coater is a plus.
- Strong visual acuity to differentiate between small parts and colors.
- Ability to interpret and create technical documentation.
- Willingness to assist in other departments as needed.
- Physical ability to stand and bend for 8-10 hours and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute across multiple functional areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Vocational training or related education is a plus.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or powder coating is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
