Job Description:
The Packager, reporting to the Distribution Center Manager. Activities and responsibilities of the Packager include:
- Light assembly of product
- Kitting product
- Re-packaging of product
- Quality inspection of kitting product
- Operate packaging machinery
- Maximum unassisted lift = 40lbs – average lift less than 25 lbs
- Requires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, climb ladders or equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Professional Experience Requirements:
Education:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
Work Experience:
- Packaging and light assembly
Professional Skills:
- 1 year experience in production/warehouse
- Basic math and communication skills required.
- Ability to lift heavy items.
- Forklift experience is preferred.
