Brief Description :
We are seeking a dynamic Business Application Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple business applications critical to our operations. The ideal candidate will "own" these systems, becoming the in-house expert and driving the alignment of technology solutions with business needs. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, project management skills, and a passion for enabling business success through efficient and effective application usage. Experience with Microsoft PowerBI is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Application Ownership :
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for assigned business applications, maintaining deep knowledge of functionality, configuration, and business impact.
- Manage application lifecycle, including implementation, updates, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
- Project Management :
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and upgrades of business applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Partner with business leaders to identify requirements and translate them into application solutions.
- Train and support end-users to maximize adoption and efficiency of the applications.
- Regularly communicate project status, application updates, and opportunities for improvement.
- System Maintenance and Improvement :
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolution with vendors or internal teams.
- Continuously assess and recommend system enhancements to optimize business processes.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all managed applications.
- Documentation and Reporting :
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and workflows.
- Generate reports to track application performance, usage, and alignment with business goals using Microsoft PowerBI.
