Brief Description :
We are looking for an honest, dependable, communicative, and motivated, team member to add to our quality team. The role will involve activities such as verifying documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards and regulations; sorting, filing, labeling, and indexing documents in physical or electronic systems; retrieving, copying, scanning, and distributing documents as needed; updating and maintaining records and databases; archiving, purging, and destroying documents according to retention schedules and policies; responding to requests and inquiries from internal and external parties; following security and confidentiality protocols; and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
Job Responsibilities :

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.
Perform all other duties as assigned or required.
Understand and follow all company rules and regulations.
- Review and issuance of certification for all branches, as necessary.
- Scan and archive all issued customer certification copies into the operational database.
- Review, approve and distribute manufacturing work orders (travelers), under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Specialist.
- Reviews minor customer certification issues and corrects issues accordingly.
- Communicates with customers, suppliers and all internal departments on all quality related documentation issues.
- Expedites, follows up and provides updates on all in process manufacturing work orders.
- Archives all first article inspection reports and samples within the designated storage area.
- Schedules pick-ups and deliveries of manufacturing work orders.
- Request item or material certification from suppliers.
- Complete special projects for Sales Department, Quality Manager and Operations Manager.
- Review and approve supplier certification (mill, testing, heat treating and special processing certification), as necessary, under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Specialist.
- Review and comprehend basic item or component blueprints, material, testing and special process specifications (ASTM, ASME, SAE, and MIL), under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Specialist
