TECHNICAL SALES - JACKSON/COLDWATER, MI
Brief Description:
CNC operators / machinist looking for advancement are ideal candidates. We are in need of a candidate that can work with tooling suppliers to reduce costs for our customers. These candidates should have tooling experience, great communication skills, and the ability to work remotely.
Job Responsibilities:
- The Technical Manager will manage tooling launches from start to finish – working with suppliers to meet customer goals and budget.
- Work with suppliers in making recommendations on existing jobs to improve cycle time, tool life, or costs.
- Set up and track tool tests.
- Manage / recommend inventory levels to support plant production.
- Hold weekly tooling meetings and publish minutes.
- Work with plant engineers / employees on any tooling issues that are identified and come up with solutions to correct.
Education/Credentials:
- High school diploma
- 3-5 Years machining experience
- Valid Driver's license with good driving record
