Work Experience Requirements
3 to 5 Years warehouse supervisory experience, certified forklift driver, working knowledge of OSHA regulations, working knowledge of MS Office.Job Duties :
Make sure that all orders released for shipment are filled on timeInsure the quality of our productMaintain the plant and all plant equipment including cleanliness.Supervise all receiving and shipping personnel for all shiftsConsolidate inventory to make efficient use of storage spaceReport all warehouse hours, vacation time, & PTO to HR managerCoordinate workload with Sales department for holidays and changes in customer demandAssist upper management in developing, interpreting, and implementing company policies and proceduresResponsible for employee conformance to established practicesDirect warehousing of goods, equipment, and suppliesReview and maintain ISO operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, maintenance and safetyConfer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activitiesResponsible for training new employeesReport all warehouse measurables in monthly staff meetingsCoordinate all returns with Purchasing department and QC departmentMust have good soft skills to support interaction with employees, internal customers, vendors and service providers as neededWarehouse Management System (VMI) and an understanding of vendor managed inventories preferred.Be safety conscious at all times and report any safety related questions or concerns immediately.Benefits :
