Job requirements:
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma.
Work Experience Requirements
- 3 to 5 Years warehouse supervisory experience, certified forklift driver, working knowledge of OSHA regulations, working knowledge of MS Office.
Job Duties:
- Make sure that all orders released for shipment are filled on time
- Ensure the quality of our product
- Maintain the plant and all plant equipment including cleanliness.
- Supervise all receiving and shipping personnel for all shifts
- Consolidate inventory to make efficient use of storage space
- Report all warehouse hours, vacation time, & PTO to HR manager
- Coordinate workload with Sales department for holidays and changes in customer demand
- Assist upper management in developing, interpreting, and implementing company policies and procedures
- Responsible for employee conformance to established practices
- Direct warehousing of goods, equipment, and supplies
- Review and maintain ISO operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, maintenance and safety
- Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities
- Responsible for training new employees
- Report all warehouse measurables in monthly staff meetings
- Coordinate all returns with Purchasing department and QC department
- Must have good soft skills to support interaction with employees, internal customers, vendors and service providers as needed
- Warehouse Management System (VMI) and an understanding of vendor managed inventories preferred.
- Be safety conscious at all times and report any safety related questions or concerns immediately.
