As a Structural Steel Project Manager at AFC Steel, LLC, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of structural steel construction projects. You will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, collaborate with clients, and ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
· Reports to: Senior Project Manager
· Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
· Allocate and manage resources effectively.
· Monitor project budgets and control expenses.
· Review and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
· Identify and mitigate project risks.
· Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
· Manage project schedules and address delays proactively.
· Maintain accurate project documentation.
· Provide leadership and direction to project teams.
· Solve technical and logistical challenges as they arise.
· Build and maintain positive client relationships.
· Ensure regulatory compliance throughout the project.
Qualifications:
· Proficient in project management software. (Knowledge in Tekla EPM is a plus)
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred).
· Proven experience in structural steel construction project management.
· Strong knowledge of construction processes and industry standards.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
· Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
· General understanding of AISC, OSHA, and AWS codes.
· Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance (OSHA 10 or 30 a plus).
· Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Client-focused with strong interpersonal skills.

· Ability to stand, walk, and navigate construction sites.
· Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
