Staff Accountant (Hybrid- Mainly Remote)

Description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team and contribute to our financial operations. As an integral member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for assisting with general ledger management, month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career while supporting our financial processes and ensuring accuracy in all financial records.

While this position offers flexibility for remote work, candidates must be available for occasional in-person meetings, particularly during the onboarding phase. Therefore, candidates residing in or near the Dallas or Houston area are preferred.

Requirements

Key Qualifications :

• General Ledger Management : Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable : Familiarity with AP / AR processes, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Reconciliations : Ability to prepare and analyze bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting : Proficiency in assisting with monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Excel Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. Familiarity with Power Query is a plus.
• ERP System Knowledge : Experience working with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred.
