What We Need: AFC is seeking an intuitive, multi-tasking, and self-motivated Clinician Liaison to partner with the Chief Medical Officer. The AFC management team is a high-performing and close-knit group that has enjoyed tremendous success over the past few years. The ideal candidate will enable the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and this team to build on that success.
General Position Summary: The mission of the Liaison is to assist in tracking all of the administrative details, clearing the path for the CMO to make their greatest contribution to our business. The Clinician Liaison will be a key asset to the Chief Medical Officer by anticipating needs at an exceptionally high level, allowing them to develop a vision and strategy for all aspects of AFC Urgent Care so that we can reach our operational, cultural, and financial goals.
Understanding the group/practice dynamics, working relationships, and responsibilities is important as this position will work closely with other managers, as well as internal and external key players. The candidate should be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures, and related information. The successful candidate will have superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to calmly juggle multiple critical requests while meeting or exceeding tight deadlines. Candidates must also have a strong sense of professionalism under pressure, and the ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations.
A high level of integrity and discretion is needed in handling confidential information.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
- Managing CMO calendar, email and phone
- Manage the CMO key tasks, projects, deadlines and commitments/action items
- Audit and assist clinicians (Physicians, Physician Associates, and Family Nurse Practitioners) with chart review and coding education
- Set meetings with suggested clinicians to assist in the happiness quotient. Hear out system issues or complications in clinic
- Alleviate communication issues or gaps between other realms in the business
- AFC company-wide and management meeting planning
- Specific accounting/Finance related projects and tasks
- Tracking provider licensing and onboarding for USCIS, DOT & WA licensing
- Miscellaneous company-wide projects
- Provider scheduling and training coordination
- Onboarding with new providers, job shadows, vetting needs
- Analyze provider compensation accuracy in market
- Assist in evaluations on KPI goals
- Reviewing service offerings in clinic, offering areas of improvement or development gaps
- Monthly Provider meetings management. (schedules, etc)
Relevant Skills and/or Experience:
- Comfortable with Mac and PC, quick to learn new tools. Proficient in Google Workspace (preferred) or Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero preferred).
- Skilled in managing complex calendars and inboxes for senior executives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to distill and relay key information quickly and clearly across multiple channels.
- Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of financial information and accounting principles; experienced in supporting finance teams and handling accounting tasks.
- Anticipates needs and stays several steps ahead to reduce friction and optimize the CMO’s productivity.
Pay and Benefits:

Schedule:
- Full-time, ~40 hrs/week
