Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and patient care, particularly in high-pressure environments such as urgent care and Level II Trauma Centers.
Duties
- Perform X-ray examinations on patients following established protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to determine the appropriate diagnostic evaluation needed for each patient.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during imaging procedures, utilizing aseptic techniques as necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation for diagnostic purposes.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and cleanliness.
Skills
- Proficient in X-ray technology and medical imaging techniques.
- Knowledge of anatomy to accurately position patients for optimal imaging results.
- Experience in urgent care settings or Level II Trauma Centers is preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and emergency medicine protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in patient care.
