General Statement of Duties: Tooling Setup
Examples of Duties: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned)
1. Pulls and sandblasts all dies for die corrector following established scheduled.
2. After polishing, sets up all tooling for the established schedule, insuring that there is ample tooling for each shift.
3. Runs all tooling through caustic cleaning station as required.
4. Replaces all tooling in its proper place after cleaning.
5. Picks up incoming new and/or repaired tooling from bus or truck terminal and processes proper receiving reports as required.
6. Relieves at extrusion press as required.
7. Follows company safety rules and policies.
8. Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping of assigned area.
9. Performs other duties as required.
Performance Requirements:
- Knowledge, skills, & Abilities: Ability to read and write, add and subtract whole numbers, use direct reading and fixed gauges.
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Experience: One to three years
