We are looking for a full time Sterilization Technician to join our growing team in Mishawaka!
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and unload steam autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaner. Keep records of loads completed & items in loads
- Clean instruments to prepare them for sterilization, clean and package mouth trays, and collect other departmental instruments
- Record sterilizer test results and stock trays
- Organize and assemble routine or specialty surgical instrument trays or other sterilized supplies, filling special requests as needed
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and assist with sterilizing and cleaning patient rooms in-between patient visits
- Perform closing duties such as filling up claves, cleaning, placing clean towels out, taking out trash, and breaking down stroller box
- Assists dental staff with patient care duties when needed
- Maintain confidentiality
- Assists with other duties as assigned
