We are looking for a motivated and creative Balloon Production Assistant to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients.
Position Summary
The Balloon Production Assistant is responsible for assisting with the preparation, production, and setup of balloon décor. This role involves working hands-on with balloons, organizing supplies, and ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standard. You’ll work closely as a team to bring our designs to life, contributing to the memorable events our clients trust us to create.
Key Responsibilities
- Balloon Preparation & Assembly
- Inflate, tie, and arrange balloons for custom designs.
- Assist in creating balloon drops, garlands, arches, centerpieces, and other décor elements.
- Follow design specifications provided by the lead designer.
- Event Setup & Delivery
- Transport and set up balloon decorations at event locations.
- Ensure proper installation and display of balloon décor at venues.
- Collaborate with clients and team members on-site to achieve the desired aesthetic.
- Inventory & Organization
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure supplies are stocked and ready for projects.
- Monitor balloon and accessory inventory, notifying the team of restocking needs.
- Assist with cleaning and proper storage of reusable items.
- Customer Interaction
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during setups or consultations.
- Uphold the company’s commitment to professionalism and quality.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Support team goals by taking on various tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in event production, balloon décor, or crafting (preferred but not required we will train on the job).
- Artistic eye for design and attention to detail very helpful.
- Ability to work with hands for extended periods, including tying balloons and assembling displays.
- Physical Demands:
- Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting items up to 30 - 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions during outdoor setups.
- Personal Attributes:
- Creative, energetic, and willing to learn.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
