Full job description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, positively impacting their lives and well-being.
Duties:
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Help with meal planning and preparation.
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' health or behavior.
- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times.
- Transport individuals to appointments or activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in patient care or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to lift and move individuals as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
