Your Role: As the House Services Supervisor, you'll act as the right hand to the Director and play an essential role in ensuring quality care for our clients. You’ll lead and support a team of caregivers, help fill gaps when call-offs occur, and work closely with the Director to manage day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Caregiving:
- Provide personal care services to clients as outlined in their care plan.
- Address clients' needs with compassion, professionalism, and respect.
Leadership & Supervision:
- Supervise caregivers, ensuring they are on time, delivering quality care, and documenting accurately.
- Provide feedback to the Director on staff performance and assist in guiding caregivers to success.
Training:
- Conduct comprehensive orientation and ongoing training to ensure all team members are well-equipped for their roles.
- Ensure all staff are familiar with emergency procedures and operational protocols.
Managing Call-Offs:
- Be the first point of contact in managing call-offs, ensuring all shifts are covered, and gaps are filled proactively (even stepping in yourself if necessary).
- Track and report call-offs to ensure consistent attendance and performance from caregivers.
Operations & Oversight:
- Collaborate with the Director to create staff schedules, ensuring clients' appointments, meals, and activities are arranged and managed effectively.
- Ensure client documentation, supply counts, and safety protocols are followed to maintain high operational standards.
