Essential Functions
FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Promotes culture of inclusivity, equality, collaboration, and excellence in the provision of leadership and oversight of the clinic operations, and employees.
- Collaborates and reports directly to the Vice President, Chief Operations Officer.
- Responsible for the planning, organizing, development, management, and evaluation of the clinical operations of the health center site, providing direct supervision to clinical support staff and acting as a liaison between Vice President, Chief Operations Officer.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, orientation, and supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff for the health center clinical areas.
- Evaluates processes and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborates with other teams to improve patient quality care, health initiatives, and improved patient health outcomes.
- Utilizes resources wisely while maintaining adequate staffing levels for clinical care.
- Monitors employees documented time, attendance, identifies staffing fluctuations, and provides support as needed in the clinic.
- Monitors and assures that all nursing and support staff remain in compliance for required training, including but not limited to annual influenza vaccination, PPD testing, CPR certification.
- Evaluates the performance of direct reports, coaches/counsels employees when needed, and completes annual evaluation on direct reports.
- Performs routine audits, utilizes data management, and reporting systems to evaluate programs, services, productivity, compliance with policy and procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Actively participates in the development and implementation of policies and procedures and updating and educating employees.
- Collaborate, coach, and share resources with Clinic Managers at other Health Center sites.
- Performs the duties of a Nurse Coordinator during
- Perform other duties as assigned by Vice President/Chief Operations Officer.
- Actively participate in several committees to improve patient care i.e., Safety, Quality Improvement, and workplace engagement and retention.
- Participate in evaluating and planning for existing and new services.
- Support compliance of all regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the implementation / evaluation of Care Standards as specified by the established regulatory bodies and Quality Improvement Performs the duties of a Nurse Coordinator during staffing shortages
