Location:

• Lincoln Peak Dental - 11 Court Street, Middlebury, VT 05753

Work Schedule:

• Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 8-4pm
• Fridays 8-2pm

Your Administrative and Chairside Role & Responsibilities:

• Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for patients
• Assist with sterilization and organization of instruments and materials
• Support chairside procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and radiograph development
• Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and providers
• Assist with inventory tracking and supply management
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care
• Accurately document patient records and ensure compliance with best practices
• Work alongside a skilled team of professionals committed to patient-centered care
• Operate the multi-line telephone system - answering, screening, and directing calls, taking messages, and scheduling appointments
• Greet visitors and callers warmly, address inquiries, and efficiently direct them to the appropriate team member
• File and maintain records, sort mail, manage courier deliveries, and accurately input data into our systems

Qualifications We Look For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program certificate (Preferred)
• Current VT Dental Assistant License or DANB CDA, ICE & RHS Certifications (state-dependent)
• CPR Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience (Required)
• Prior front desk experience in a dental office (Preferred)
• Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and provide the highest level of patient care
