Work Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday 9:45am-7pm
- Friday 9am-3pm
Your Administrative and Chairside Role & Responsibilities:
- Create a warm, safe, and welcoming environment for patients
- Assist with sterilization and organization of instruments and materials
- Support chairside procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and radiograph development
- Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment, ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and providers
- Assist with inventory tracking and supply management
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-treatment care
- Accurately document patient records and ensure compliance with best practices
- Work alongside a skilled team of professionals committed to patient-centered care
- Operate the multi-line telephone system - answering, screening, and directing calls, taking messages, and scheduling appointments
- Greet visitors and callers warmly, address inquiries, and efficiently direct them to the appropriate team member
- File and maintain records, sort mail, manage courier deliveries, and accurately input data into our systems
Qualifications We Look For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- CODA-accredited Dental Assistant program certificate (Preferred)
- Current NY Dental Assistant License or DANB CDA, ICE & RHS Certifications (state-dependent)
- CPR Certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of dental assisting experience (Required)
- Prior front desk experience in a dental or medical office (Required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and provide the highest level of patient care
- English bilingualism with Spanish, Hindi, or Bengali (Preferred)
