Our client, a highly respected food manufacturer based about an hour west of Boston (relo will be provided), is seeking a Director of Engineering who will :

  • be responsible for the management of all Operational capital across all locations.
  • lead the development of the annual and three-year capital plans.
  • provide engineering support and expertise to the operations and maintenance teams as needed.
  • have complete supervisory experience over the Corporate Engineering team.

Requirements :

  • Engineering Degree.
  • 7 years of experience in food manufacturing. Liquid batching processing preferred.
  • Prefer experience in flour milling, dry mix manufacturing, fresh and frozen bakery, and sweet good products.
  • Must have the ability to travel regularly to all facilities in North America. Up to 40% travel.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and Project Management skills.
  • Must have a hands-on work ethic along with the ability to think strategically about capital projects and the alignment with business objectives and strategy.
