Job description : Hiring Profile :
Must Have Skills / Experience : RT on staff will be the backup for intubations training will be provided onsite, the chosen RT will be the only RT on shift
Preferred Skillset / Experience : None
Type of Patients on Unit : primarily adults, ED patients, Surgical; rehab; imaging; heart & vascular; ortho; emergency
Qualifications : Required Certifications : Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider
HCP) - AHA approved required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification or EKG & Pharmacology Course required National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required and VA License.
- New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to the completion of orientation
